Supply & Buy 2018: Annual Business Development Event

The 2018 edition will take place on Wednesday 20 June at the Congress Centre, London WC1

Supply & Buy combines many of the benefits of a normal trade show with a precisely targeted ‘meet the buyer’ event. The relaxed atmosphere facilitates meaningful discussions with further sales meetings often negotiated on the day.

The dual purpose of the annual event is to help brands develop their retail coverage in the UK, while providing an informal but focussed business environment for buyers to meet potential new suppliers. Buyers attend purely with the view to finding new brands. The attendance does vary from year to year and is subject to personnel changes, internal pressures and even the weather on the day.

Companies that take part either represent multiple brands and often already have very well established businesses, while others can be sole brand owners who have only limited, or even no current distribution. All exhibitors though are selected for their commercial potential.

The beauty event is open to skincare, cosmetics, nails, toiletries, health-tech, accessories, hair, bath & body, fragrance, tools and accessories.

How It Works

The event starts at 9.00am and finishes by 4.45pm

Each company is allocated a 6ft x 2.5ft table on which to present its brand/brands. Space is provided around this area for a pull-up banner and, if room allows one other floor-standing small display unit. We do not operate a shell scheme.

Buyers arrive from 9.00am and circulate around the room speaking with the brands of interest to them in turn. Many stay for several hours.

The cost of attending the event to brands is £1,500 plus VAT. There is an ‘early-booking’ discount of 20% against the total fee. The early-booking period expires on 28 February 2018.

A £175 non-refundable reservation fee applies – this, though, is redeemable against the confirmed booking fee. Reservations can be made in two equal stages. All fees must be paid for at least one month prior to the day of the event. Please see our Terms & Conditions for cancellation charges.
